CEO Roundtables
Share the collective wisdom of other CEOs, presidents and owners through practice sharing and valuable insights.  The Roundtable program offers exclusive membership in a small, select group of non-competing company executives.

Annual Meeting
GLI’s Annual Meeting brings a “who’s who” of our region’s business and community leaders together for one night, at one location for one big celebration.  Award presentations, special guests and exceptional networking make this one of the hottest tickets in town.  The Annual Meeting is a time not only to reflect on community accomplishments from the past year, but a time to look forward to the opportunities for the future.

Business Scene (B.Scene)
This exclusive after-hours networking series for the Louisville business community is held at A-List locations throughout Louisville. BScene will expose your business and employees to a variety of industries and professionals in a dynamic networking environment.

Start your day at this acclaimed series where speakers provide relevant business information and insights…and enjoy a hot breakfast - all before 9 a.m.!  The Business at Breakfast series, held five times annually, offers key lessons from the region’s hottest business leaders.

Celebration of Small Business Luncheon
Typically held in conjunction with Small Business Month in May, the Celebration of Small Business Luncheon recognizes small businesses (less than 100 employees) in the Greater Louisville area for their on-going contributions to our community’s economic vitality.  The luncheon also recognizes the GLI Inc.credible Award recipients.

Global Business Strategies
Is it time to expand your business globally?  Learn from international experts how exporting your products worldwide can help increase your company’s profits. Through networking, collaboration and best practices advice, GLI’s Global Business Strategies Forums and Connections will help you uncover the mysteries of “going global.”

Ambassadors are goodwill representatives who give their time and energy to recruit, retain, and inform others of the opportunities and events offered by Greater Louisville Inc. membership.  There are number of ways to get involved and support GLI by being an ambassador.

Louisville 101
This interactive half-day program immerses newcomers in the life and culture Louisville residents have come to know and love.  The innovative program showcases the area’s cultural attractions, civic amenities and quality of life, while addressing social issues and providing attendees with information about how to get involved in the community.

Greater Louisville Inc. Development Expedition (GLIDE)
GLIDE is an annual invitation-only executive program for local business and community leader.   Attendees travel to a competitor city where they study best practices and brings ideas back to Greater Louisville.  Past destinations include Dublin (Ireland), Denver, Milwaukee, Jacksonville, Austin, Minneapolis/St. Paul and Kansas City.  This hands-on, interactive trip provides top-level networking and in-depth group discussions.

How to Network
Refresh your networking skills at this fast-paced seminar covering the top 10 networking techniques used by successful business professionals, entrepreneurs and high performance networkers.  Sharpen your skills while meeting other GLI members. This two- hour seminar is open to the first 40 member registrants and is offered every other month. Presented by The Michael Strickland Group.

D.C. Fly-In
Get an insider’s view of the latest developments in our nation’s capital during this annual event, which takes GLI members to Washington, D.C.  It’s a unique opportunity to meet with our region’s federal representatives, their executive staffs and other political VIPs as well as building a stronger relationship with other GLI members interested in legislative issues.

Capitol Connection Luncheons
Capitol Connection events give GLI members and local business leaders access to legislative leadership, issues and information.  Guest speakers provide key political insights at the local, state and federal levels, from developments in Washington, D.C. to the latest bills before the Kentucky General Assembly.  Network with our community’s movers and shakers while learning how you can support pro-businesses efforts.

Louisville Day in Frankfort
Join business and community leaders on an annual day trip to Frankfort to share the business community’s top priorities with Kentucky’s elected leaders.  Enjoy lunch with the Jefferson County Delegation, networking with House and Senate leadership, and briefings from the Governor and his administration.  Don’t miss this opportunity to share your priorities and concerns with Frankfort.
