Kentucky Rx Card Now Available in Spanish

RxThe popular Kentucky Rx Card is now available in Spanish. Earlier this year, GLI, along with the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health and Wellness, launched the free card program to provide savings of up to 75 percent on prescription drug costs to citizens and employers.

The program, one way GLI is working to address member concerns over the affordability of heath coverage, has already provided thousands of companies and individuals with savings on prescription drug costs. The card has no restrictions for membership, no income requirements, no age limitations and no application process, and is accepted at more than 50,000 national and regional pharmacies.

If your company would like free Kentucky Rx Cards in English or Spanish to provide to your employees, please contact Leslie Noel at LNoel@GreaterLouisville.com. Citizens can also obtain a Kentucky Rx Card:
- In the December 17 edition of Louisville's Al Dia newspaper
- At all Metro Louisville Public Health and Wellness locations, Neighborhood Place locations, and the Park DuValle Community Health Center

The Kentucky Rx Card can be used by the uninsured, underinsured and those who have health insurance but no prescription benefits, as is common with health savings accounts and high-deductible health plans. Even individuals with prescription coverage can use this program for non-formulary or non-covered drugs. For additional information and frequently asked questions regarding the program, click here.
